Why was Ejdabya selected? Because of what the city is suffering from in its infrastructure. After our first visit to the city, we notice that there were no child-friendly areas, public parks, or clubs where children can spend time playing and entertaining themselves. The schools of the city also have a huge shortage of fun recreational activities and have no toys or playing areas because all these things have a very high cost. Noor Al Hayat, with the support of UNICEF, and in coordination with the ministry of education organized a campaign for city children psychological and social support, where we conducted a lot of recreational fun activities, and gave the schools boxes that have a lot of intelligence games and sports tools. We also conducted many workshops to raise awareness about child rights and to educate children about the dangers of abuse and the negative effects of the internet.
