In 2020 many children have severely affected because of the shutdown policies that were forced by the authorities due to the spread of COVID-19. The schools shot their doors and the study stopped and almost all activities in the country were shut down. Many children were harmed physically and psychologically by their families and guardians during that time. This caused an increase in violence due to the emotional pressures the parents were suffering from because of the bad economic state and because many of them lost their jobs, in addition to the continuous armed conflicts in the country. Therefore, Noor Al Hayat continued to work among the children and the migrants and presented several activities of social and psychological support, while taking care of social distancing rules. We conducted many workshops for awareness of COVID-19 prevention and we distributed masks and sanitizers to the target group.
